Meant To Do This
I have never met anyone who does a job they were put on earth to do more than Saidi. His work will result in real positive change in Tanzania -- may seem over optimsitic but I mean it 100%.

Sterling Character
Saiidi was an extraordinary companion; he was the primary asset on our safari. He was a capable, knowledgeable, efficient, thoroughly professional guide. But more than that, he was serviceful but not servile, affable and engaged, yet respectful of our privacy. His enthusiasm matched ours and his sterling character was often displayed, as when he refused to stop when there were too many onlookers that might disturb the game.
Deep Knowledge
Saidi was really reliable: punctual, precise, openminded and with a deep knowledge of the wildlife (species, habits, where to find animals etc..). Every day we decided with him which road to take, how long to stay in a place etc.. and he was very kind and patient in explaining and proposing the best solutions. As he said, you can program the itinerary but animals and weather sometimes don't respect it....so the best thing you can do is trust your guide and follow his advice, even if sometimes this makes you change the original itinerary. For example we had planned to stay in 2 different camps in Serengeti but once there Saidi suggested to stay in the same place 'cause animals in those days were not in the other place, and we did it and it was the best decision (we just drove for some time in the other area and there where no animals at all). Of course you can't do it if you have booked everything in advance like lodges or tended camps but we had chosen the "simple" camp safari so we were very flexible. So trust your guide: they do a great job there!
Highly Recommend Saidi
Saidi was a FANTASTIC guide! He was great at finding animals, especially the cheetahs and leopards. The 4WD was always spotless. Saidi was very punctual. And we had a great "all-around" time with him! We hope to stay in touch with him. We highly recommend Saidi!
BEST Guide in Tanzania!
I could not ask for a better guide than Said. He delivered on everything we asked for and more. Almost every question we had he knew the answer, and if he didn't, he had reference guides immediately available to consult. He located every animal we were looking for, even when other guides gave up. After talking to other people on safari, I am convinced that we had the BEST guide in Tanzania!
Friendly. Personable. Knowledgeable.
Saidi was great. He was friendly, personable, knowledgeable about all kinds of wildlife (he knew the names of every bird and animal we came across), and good at spotting things I would have never seen had he not been with us. We had a wonderful time chatting with him about all sorts of things, and it seemed like he genuinely enjoyed his job, in spite of the fact that he must have seen the landscapes and animals that we saw hundreds of times. He was attentive to our requests to make minor changes to our schedule and was happy to accommodate us in whatever way possible. I would highly recommend him as a guide!
Simply Amazing
Our guide, Saidi, was simply amazing. He made us feel very comfortable right away when picking us up at the airport...a very friendly & fun person. We really enjoyed every moment we spent with him. He was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and was able to answer every question we asked. It takes a skilled driver to manage the rough, bumpy roads...he made us feel completely safe the entire time. We would highly recommend Saidi to anyone.
Charming
I couldn't believe how lucky we were to spend the 6 days with Alex. He is truly a credit to your company. What a charming, genuine, helpful and knowledgeable young man, with a great sense of humor as well. We talk about him whenever the trip is mentioned.
Very Fun and knowledgable
He did an excellent job and I would recommend Alex to future Safari-goers. Very fun and knowledgable. Had a good selection of music for the longer drives.
He is the man
David is the man! He was a great driver, a great guide. He also has the most wonderful personality and is knowledgeable about world events and politics, as well as nature and culture. I would recommend David to anyone who loves to have fun and wanting to have delightful conversations, along with wanting a great guide. Although you didn't ask, we enjoyed Paul (our cook) immensely too - both for his cooking and for his personality.
The reason we had best trip ever
David: You are wonderful. I can't tell you how much I appreciated your direction, smarts and peresonality. You are the reason we all agreed that this was the best trip we have ever taken. The fact that you took Brendan to the clubs in Arusha is a testimonial to your caring, personal touch. I was very sad to say goodbye at the airport. Can't say enough good things about him.
David was our driver/guide. He was a hard worker in all areas. He was serious about his job, but had a charming and delightful sense of humor. We had the best time and most fun with him. They say all their drivers get this same rave review, but we can't imagine anyone else on his par. Can't say enough good things about him.
Very knowledgeable
David was wonderful - he had a really good sense of humour and had a natural love of the wildlife and his country. He was very knowledgeable and made the extra effort to make sure that we saw as much as possible.
Entertaining, and really knowledgeable
We had such a great holiday with David. He was entertaining, and really knowledgeable. He made friends everywhere we went, and therefore we met lots of people. We really left Tanzania feeling like we had made a new friend, instead of just having a guide.
Above and beyond
Fulgence not only was a great tour guide but he went way above and beyond expectations to make us happy. For example, he overheard me telling Aimee that I love exotic fruit and the next day he showed up in the jeep with some different types of bananas and custard apple. We mentioned to him that we wanted to try some of the local food and on the day back to Arusha he stopped at a small restaurant and we were able to eat traditional ungali porridge and barbequed meat. I also said I'd like a Tanzania soccer jersey and he found a local guy that sells them. These are just a few examples of little things he did to make us really happy besides just being a great guy and an unbelievable tour guide.
Wonderful fun!
We especially want to tell you how much we enjoyed Furu. Not only did he do everything you would want a guide to do (i.e. expertly drive the vehicle, spot animals that were invisible, provide tons of information about his country and all the animals and birds we were seeing, and patiently answer even the dumbest questions) he was also very kind and wonderful fun.
Fantastic
Fulgence was nothing short of fantastic! He made sure we felt comfortable and safe right from the beginning. He went above and beyond the call of duty. His tracking skills were amazing, pointing out hard-to-spot animals and his knowledge of wildlife and Tanzanian culture was outstanding! His sunny disposition and ready smile and a willing-and-able to help attitude won us over in no time. We cannot have asked for a better guide on our trip than Fulgence.
Commitment to his work
We are so grateful to Fulgence, our guide for the two weeks we were on safari. He was quite informed on the history of Tanzania and the cultures of the many tribes of the country; his thorough knowledge of the flora and fauna of each of the regions we visited, his keen insights into the habitats and movements of the animals, and his incomparable sense of delightful humor and patience in dealing with us as guests in his country, not only made each day such a pleasure to look forward to, but also wonderful evenings to talk about all that we had seen and learned. We cannot imagine what our safari might have been like without Fulgence’s daily presence and guidance.
Exceptional Guide.
Exceptional guide. Maningo is extremely knowledgeable and spotted an amazing assortment of wildlife for us including big game, birds, special plants. It was very hard to say goodbye at the airport and we wished he could have continued to Selous with us.

Manigo was a truely awesome guide. He had unbridled enthusiasm for finding all kinds of wildlife and at the same time he was very considerate of our needs.

Honored all of our requests.
Maningo was great. Very friendly and informative. He was very tied in with the other guides via radio, which helped us to find some of the more rare animals. Anytime we had a request or suggestion, it would be honored, but most of the time Maningo would just plan and work all of the details so we could just sit back and enjoy the trip.
Good Sense of Humor.
Maningo, seemingly quite but friendly and courteous, is a fun loving individual with a good sense of humor. His knowledge of animal, culture and geography is abundant. His driving skills convey experience with carefulness. His ability to seek and spot game rates a 10. Maningo is very detail oriented, not forgetting a thing that is mentioned. He not only delivers his own service to your comfort and interests but at every stay makes sure the staff know how to provide the comforts you require and desire. Hope to safari with Maningo again.
Best Guide In Tanzania
We feel we got the best guide in Tanzania. Every day, Mr. Maningo asked us what we wanted to see, and then he would find it. He loves to laugh and joke. He left his wife and newborn child in the hospital to fulfill his obligation to us. He knows how to network with other drivers to find the great sights of the Serengeti. He has the patience of Job in tracking and waiting; he is sensitive about when we want to continue watching something and when we had enough. He is mature and very experienced. When we got a flat tire, he changed it with minimal fuss (fortunately no lions about!). If he ever gets vexed, he doesn't show it. If we wanted to head out at sunrise or be the last straggler out of the crater to catch the rhinos, he was agreeable. A great person to spend a week with.
Kept Us Safe
A great guide who kept us safe during some hard (rainy) driving conditions and who had an eagle eye for animal spotting.
We'll Request Him Next Time
Mussa was a great guide and driver. We learned a lot about Tanzania during this trip. The safari was so much fun we can't wait to come again, we would definitely request Mussa to be our guide again.

Put Our Interests First
We found Mussa to be a hard-working, honest, attentive guide, who never complained and always put our interests first. Because he is a new guide, he was eager to give us answers to our questions and promptly look up any information that he did not know. During our long drives, we talked to Mussa at length about everything from Masai culture to indiginous foods to the keys to a successful marriage! His English was terrific and he was completely professional. We met other guides who we could tell were just "doing their job" but we felt that Mussa was sincere and passionate about his job and his relationship with his clients. We told Mussa that if he maintains his honest, sincere approach, he will be a very sought after guide, because clients want someone they can trust. I have recommended Mussa to all of our friends who might travel to Tanzania, and we hope to come back to see how he is doing someday!

Passion
Mussa was a fine young man with a very real love for the African wilderness and a passion for the wildlife that lives there. I learnt a great deal about his country, and the environment of the Serengeti especially, as a result of the time we spent with Mussa.
Good guide
Some times we felt like having dinner alone in the evening, but it appeared to be the rule that we should eat with the guide. This is a general impression, and not specific about our guide. He was not always punctual, once he was 30 minutes late with picking us up in the morning.
Went the extra mile
The guide was extremely suited to both my daugher and myself. He went the extra mile to accomadate us. His sense of humor and gratitiousness were outstanding.
We become friends
Our guide Raymond is truly an ambassador for his country; he quickly became a friend to us as well, one with whom we continue to email even now almost a year later. I can't say enough good stuff about Ray. If you make your safari with A2T I'm confident you'll also have an excellent driver, but if it happens to be Ray please treat him well.
Wonderful guide
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro, we were greeted by Ray who we absolutely loved!! Not only was he friendly, upbeat and energetic but so knowledgeable! It was easy to see how much he loves the animals, he was a wonderful guide. He made sure we saw The Big 5 as well as the smaller, less known animals. We enjoyed spending time and talking with him during the long rides and are so thankful that he made our safari such an amazing experience.
Ray was fantastic
Ray was fantastic. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the animals and any other things we asked him about. Ray\'s driving made our trip more enjoyable as you could see how well he avoided bumps which made our ride very smooth even though the roads were sometimes pretty bumpy. He is definitely a great asset to Access 2 Tanzania!
Great storyteller
Raymond was very friendly and fun. He cared about our interests and loved to tell us great stories (both personal and gerenal). We really got to know him. He went out of his way to make our stay meaningful. Great guide and would recommend him to anyone!
We enjoyed his company
Ray was fantastic. He was always waiting and raring to go. He was so accommodating and wanted to be sure that we did all the things we wanted to do and did not waste time on something we considered uninteresting. We enjoyed his company immmensely and we feel like we have a new member of our family.
We felt safe with him
Ray was a very happy and friendly guide. We felt very safe with him at all times and enjoyed his company and the discussions we had about Tanzania, its people and in particular his life and family. We learnt heaps. At the end of some very tiring days Ray still had the energy to play soccer and volleyball with our two hyperactive sons. We also apreciated Ray's diplomatic guidance with respect to the day's activities. Our time with Ray in Tanzania was very special and will never be forgotten.
Informative and engaging
We thought he was fantastic and we enjoyed the time that we spent with him. He always had a game plan for the day, was great at spotting animals. He was always informative and engaging.
