Company Vehicles
Tanzania Safari: Company Vehicles
We only use high quality 4x4 Toyota Land Cruisers in new or like-new condition with roof openings for 360 degree viewing. Our Land Cruisers can seat a maximum of 5 passengers in a Standard Body or 7 passengers in an Extended Body. In our opinion, Land Cruisers are superior to Land Rovers in terms of comfort and reliability and they are far superior to the minivans that some companies use. We keep our vehicles in top notch condition with maintenance visits between every safari (we have our own mechanic on staff).
Tanzania Safari: Every 4x4 vehicle is fully equipped:
- 2-Way Radio (Radio Call)
- Air-Conditioning
- Mini-Fridge for your water and/or soda (provided)
- Radios with CD
- Charging systems for your electronics and batteries
- 2 Pair of Binoculars (Nikon Monarch 8x36 or Eagle Optics Ranger 8x42)
- First Aid Kit
- Fire Extinguisher
- Tool Kit
- 2 Spare Tires
We go out of our way to make sure that you will be comfortable in your vehicle for when you'll want to spend long days in the vehicle watching animals. We even have extra cushions on the seats to make your ride more comfortable over the unpaved roads.

Why Choose A2T?
After living in Tanzania for 2 years as a Peace Corps Volunteer (1993-95), Brian Singer started Project Zawadi, a non-profit organization to support children's education. Using his business background and local connections he and his wife, Karen, joined forces with Michael to start Access 2 Tanzania. Brian and Karen and the US staff (many Returned Peace Corps Volunteers) assist customers with pre-travel decisions and planning while Michael and the Tanzania team take care of all the in-country logistics.
